The National Gallery Complex includes the National Gallery of Scotland and the Royal Scottish Academy Building, Scotland’s premier exhibition venue.

The National Gallery of Scotland houses part of the national collection, which includes works by almost every major figure of Western art, from the Early Renaissance to the end of the nineteenth century. It offers an unmissable opportunity to see the work of Raphael, Botticelli, Titian, Monet, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, El Greco, Cézanne, Degas, Gauguin and many others. It is also home to a comprehensive collection of Scottish art, featuring masterpieces by Raeburn, Ramsay and Wilkie.

Both buildings are linked by an underground connection which houses the Hawthornden Lecture Theatre, the Gallery Restaurant and Bar, a café, gift shop and cloakroom.
