The Hawes Tourist Information and National Park Centre is located at the east end of the town off the A684. It has a large car park and disabled parking and access.
The centre is open 10am - 5pm daily (except Christmas). The centre provides a reception point for the Dales Countryside Museum, staff facilitate the Tourist Information and National Park Service. There is a retail area, toilet and baby changing facilities.
As well as the Museum, customers can also visit the temporary exhibition programme and see a range of demonstrations and workshops throughout the year.
Hawes is a busy market town with a market on Tuesdays. There are many attractions in the area to visit which staff can advise on. The shop sells maps and books about walking in the area.
Accommodation of all types is available and can be booked in the area and further afield.
