Set in 175 acres of natural parkland and boasting 21 important historic buildings, the site mixes fascinating history, exciting science and beautiful surroundings to produce a magical trip for both old and young. A programme of special events, both educational and fun, is also available throughout the opening season. Open from May to September, weekends and bank holidays only.
