The Whitby Wizard is the first science centre in North Yorkshire and has one hundred hands-on experiments of real science, made to be handled safely and freely by both adults and children. There are no computer simulations, only the physical wonders of science in three dimensions with the principles and laws of nature made get-a-able and understandable.

Located on the West Cliff next to Whitby's largest car park, the outdoor attractions, the Spa pavilion and the paddling pool. The magnificent sandy beach stretches all the way to the village of Sandsend.
Whitby is an ancient whaling and fishing port whose character has survived for hundreds of years. It has many small restaurants and antique shops. Building restrictions has ensured the survival of the magical feel to the town and its magnificent natural setting on the cliffs on both sides of the River Esk.
