The Heritage Centre houses a registered museum of local history, completely refurbished in 2008 with the help of a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. There is also a tourist information point covering Bedfordshire and surrounding counties. The centre specialises in walk leaflets, maps and books and publishes 8 circular walks based on Woburn. Also for sale is a selection of cards, pottery and gifts. The centre is a charitable trust run entirely by volunteers and is open from April to Oct. Admission is free.
