Chinese New Year

Based slap bang in the middle of the city around Chinatown, Trafalgar Square and Shaftesbury Avenue, the celebrations kick off on Sunday 6 February at 12pm.

See performances from Chinese artists in Trafalgar Square then explore the richly decorated Chinatown where you’ll find food stalls, Chinese arts and crafts, traditional lion and dragon dances and dancing puppets. There’ll also be firecrackers and fireworks and special menus and events at many of London’s Chinese restaurants.
