Shell Garden, Jersey, Channel Islands; Courtesy of the Shell Garden
A charming folly begun in 1957 by Colin Soudain, Jersey's Shell Garden features walls, paths and sculptures made from millions of shells from Jersey molluscs. The shells are added to each year, and include those of famous local shellfish, the ormer.
