The annual International Guitar Festival of Great Britain attracts performers from all over the world. A plethora of guitarists and styles come to venues around the Wirral, including the Floral Pavilion Theatre, New Brighton and Birkenhead's Pacific Road Arts Centre.
Previous highlights have included concerts by Nick Harper, John Etheridge, John Williams and Woody Mann. In 2012 visiting artist include Paul Carrack, Andy Fairweather Low, Toploader and Dweezil Zappa's tribute to his father in Zappa plays Zappa.
