Each January, pigeon fanciers from across the country flock to Blackpool's Winter Gardens for the pigeon Show of the Year, hosted by the Royal Pigeon Racing Association. A gala evening follows the Saturday show at the Tower Ballroom with live entertainment.
By Road: the M55 takes you straight into Blackpool from the M6.
By Rail: there are regular services from Preston and Manchester.
