Thriller - Live at London's Lyric Theatre.
Michael Jackson's Thriller and many of his other hits, together with those by The Jackson 5, get the West End treatment as Adrian Grant's Thriller - Live continues at the Lyric Theatre after three UK tours and European standing ovations.
Perhaps the most obvious pop sensation to have a stage musical created around his music, the wonder is that the Jackson-inspired Thriller - Live has taken so long. But now, with the collaboration of director Gary Lloyd and choreography by both Ricko Baird (who has both choreographed Jackson himself and been his dance double) and LaVelle Smith Jnr, as well as musical director John Maher, Thriller - Live is... well... live in the West End.
Thriller - Live is also notable for being the first West End show to embrace both matinée and evening performances on a Sunday.
Heading north-east up Shaftesbury Avenue from Piccadilly Circus, the Lyric Theatre is the first of the four fine, if faded, Victorian theatres on your left.
The nearest tube station is Piccadilly Circus (Piccadilly & Bakerloo lines), while buses that stop on Shaftesbury Avenue are routes 38, 19, 14 & 22.
The nearest NCP car parks are on Denman St, Newport Place, Wardour St and Lexington St.
