Based on million-selling rock 'n' roll compilation albums, Dreamboats and Petticoats has proved so successful in London that it's moved into its third theatre. After runs at the Savoy and Playhouse Theatres it plays a Christmas season at the Wyndham's Theatre.
The book - by TV comedy hit team Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran (Goodnight Sweetheart, Birds of a Feather etc) - tells of musicians Norman and Bobby entering a song competition, while they also compete for gorgeous Sue. But what happens when shy-but-talented Laura starts to turn Bobby's head?
The songs are by Roy Orbison, The Shadows, Eddie Cochran, Billy Fury, and more, including Let's Dance, Bobby's Girl, Three Steps To Heaven, Only Sixteen, C'mon Everybody and Let's Twist Again.
By Tube: to Leicester Square.
