Jazz stars from across the world perform at Newcastle's Sage Gateshead music centre as part of the Gateshead International Jazz Festival. A series of workshops, pre-concert talks and master-classes runs alongside a packed performance schedule.
The festival brings together a wide range of artists under the umbrella title of Jazz with international stars such as Debbie Harry and Cleo Laine performing this year.
Now past its half decade milestone, it promises to be a gem of a festival and a great event for any jazz fan.
