If you thought the Wimbledon tournament was where it's at for strawberries and cream, handsome lads and scantily clad gals, think again. Tennis London International organises this annual gay and lesbian tennis tournament at Sutton Tennis Academy.
The event is part of the international lesbian and gay tennis circuit. The court action is fast and furious and the tournament welcomes everyone from tennis novices to county-level players. The fun kicks off with an opening party, followed the next morning by the start of play. Sunday afternoon is the finals and prize-giving day.
By Car: M25 (Junction 8) and A217 to Sutton, then Rose Hill.
