Graffiti Girl by George Donald RSA, submiktted as part of the annual RSA Open
With submissions requested from any artist, the RSA Open at Edinburgh's Royal Scottish Academy is an exhibition of small works in the Lower Galleries. It offers a range of new and established names in works of various media.
Having first held its RSA Annual Exhibition in 1827, nearly two centuries on, in 2010, a major change was announced for the august building on Edinburgh's Mound. With the RSA Annual now moved to the spring, the autumn slot is given over to the RSA Open.
Current RSA members are allowed to submit one work, while non-members can submit up to two, none of which can be larger than 80cm (including frames) in any direction. The "hand in" period is two weeks before the exhibition's opening, so get painting, sculpting or creating!
By Train: Waverly Station
By Bus: Any bus stopping on Princes Street or The Mound
