No new Brtish theatre worth it's salt can ignore the tradition of pantomime at Christmas. Central London's newest theatre in 30 years, St James Theatre, honours that tradition with only its third production - Sally Cookson's Tobacco Factory Theatre, Bristol production of Cinderella.
You know the story - Cinderella's mother has died and, while she's still mourning, her father re-marries and Cinderella is forced to live with a new set of relatives she didn't ask for. Her only friends are the woodland birds that roost above her mother's grave. But they're no ordinary birds, and with their help perhaps Cinderella's dreams may come true...
Join in the fun in this innovative produciton, with musc by Benji Bower and script, from the company's own devising, by Adam Peck.
