At Garden Organic Ryton in Warwickshire, not only will you find 10 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, you can also enjoy a delicious meal at an awarding-winning restaurant. The organic menu includes produce grown locally and where possible, in the organic gardens at Ryton. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea are all served 7 days a week and private functions can be catered for.
The unusually-named Scrumpy Willow and the Singing Kettle, serves a range of delicious seasonal dishes made from organic, locally-sourced produce. The restaurant grows its own vegetables and makes its own bread, giving the food even more of a homemade feel. Watch out for the art by artists from all over the world.
Well-known as one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the country, Terre a Terre in Brighton aims to change people’s perceptions of vegetarian food. The wholesome, inventive dishes are accompanied by an organic drinks menu that features organic wines, spirits and beers.
The multi award-winning Duke of Cambridge is the world’s first certified organic gastro pub. The twice-daily changing menu always has 2 meat, 2 fish and 2 vegetarian main courses with 3 or 4 starters and desserts. All food is made with seasonal, fresh, local organic ingredients.
This elegant Austwick Traddock hotel and restaurant in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales serves up delicious dishes with panache. Expect locally sourced ingredients and seasonal menus starring plates like Dales-bred fillet steak with caramelised banana shallots and Grilled Whitby Mackerel.
The restored Barley Wood Victorian gardens grow organic veg which ends up on the tables of their excellent café. Other ingredients are carefully sourced from local suppliers and the views across Wrington Vale and the Mendip Hills are sublime.
