Start your tour at the magnificent Scottish capital of Edinburgh. Feel yourself transported back through the centuries as you wander the ancient network of streets known as the Royal Mile. Cross the Forth Bridge and head north to Perth. This elegant country town inspired Sir Walter Scott to pen 'The Fair Maid of Perth', which in turn inspired an opera. Visit Scone Palace, the ancient parliament and crowning place of kings, and discover the local history of the feuding clans.
