US basketball star Seimone Augustus, Australian diving champ Matthew Mitcham, and US soccer player Megan Rapinoe, are just a few of the LGBT sports stars who will be battling it out for gold in London and beyond this summer. Britain is one of the globes most popular and celebrated destinations for gay travelers so it’s a fitting stage for these sensational sporting heroes – we're raising a glass to an inclusive and diverse Olympic & Paralympic Games!
CA House in Limehouse Basin will be the waterside home for Pride House, the Olympic base for the LGBT community, this summer. The house will be the first of its kind at a summer Olympic Games and will open on 3 August for a ten day spell. During this time the house will screen Olympic events, display the European Gay and Lesbian Sports Federation (EGLSF) 'Against the Rules' exhibition, promote LGBT sports initiatives and host talks, panel discussions and meet-and-greets. You’re invited to explore a new home from home!
