First Class Guide to Britain
Join Britain's post men and women as they take you on an exclusive video tour around Britain's best kept secrets.
First Class Guide to Yorkshire
Let postman Barry Hutchinson show you around some of Yorkshire's hidden gems.
Barry's lived in Whitby for 35 years and worked for Royal Mail for over 10. He's lucky enough to see some of Yorkshire's most stunning locations and sights every day as he delivers our post. Whitby Abbey is one of the major sights on his route and is the place that inspired Bram Stoker to write his famous vampire novel, Dracula.
One of Barry's favourite places is Goathland Railway Station which was used to film the famous wizard Harry Potter arriving on the Hogwarts Express from Kings Cross. Lots of local school children from Whitby featured in this scene from the movie and Barry's nephew was one of them!
His route also covers the surrounding Goathland area including Aidensfield, a local town made famous as the set of popular British TV series, Heartbeat. Barry often visits the set and has even appeared as an extra in the show. Why don't you come and visit too?
