Restaurants

Brighton’s diversity extends to its choice of restaurants. With more than 400 to choose from you can eat your way around the world from Cantonese and Cajun through Indonesian, Malaysian, Mongolian, Tex-Mex and Vegetarian, not to mention French, the numerous good value Italian restaurants, and of course fish ‘n’ chips!

People-watch from one of the many alfresco cafés and restaurants. Many also offer a reasonable ‘fixed price’ menu. Whether you are looking for a breakfast brunch, a mid-morning espresso, a leisurely lunch, a traditional tea, a pizza with jazz, a pre-theatre meal or a chic supper venue, you are certain to find it here.

Along the beachfront between the two Piers there are several restaurants and cafés. You can buy fresh fish on the beach and have it cooked for you just a few yards away at the Cook and Fiddle, between April and September.  If you are enjoying yourself too much to sit down and have a meal, you can buy fresh doughnuts and crepes on the Pier, as well as a smoked fish baguette from Jack & Linda’s Seafront Fish Smokers.
