Shopping

You will find a host of high street names in the architecturally impressive Princes Quay with its four decks and 100 shops. The Top Deck is a unique journey through 45 speciality shops.

More high street stores can be found all under one roof in the bright and airy surroundings of The Prospect Centre, or along Whitefriargate, home to old favourites like Marks & Spencer.

After something particular? There’s classic tailoring and contemporary design from nearby Savile Street, with its host of stylish designer shops and a growing reputation for individual boutiques which include Bolo, Reeds, Aqua, Ollys and Arc.

In contrast to the modern shopping areas, discover the Trinity Quarter in the shadow of Holy Trinity Church. A Victorian arcade links with the Edwardian Trinity Market at the heart of the Old Town, where you can shop in the mall and buy anything from framed pictures to fruit and flowers to meat and fish.
