Inverness

Scotland’s newest city is known as “Capital of the Highlands”  and enjoys a stunning setting, at the mouth of the River Ness surrounded by hills. Inverness is also modern and go-ahead, with its streets in summer a busy mix of residents and visitors. A Northern Highland gateway, mountains and lochs beckon nearby, including the world famous Loch Ness.
