Chatteris

Chatteris is a small town with a long main street lined with Georgian and Victorian buildings. The 14th century church tower overlooks a square of lawns and trees. A fire in the 14th century destroyed most of the abbey founded in 980AD. Chatteris is thought to have been the last refuge of Queen Boudica.
