The village of Alnmouth is situated in the rural district of Alnwick in Northumberland, the northernmost county in England. Northumberland is one of the largest counties in England and the most sparsely populated. Located at the mouth of the River Aln estuary, Alnmouth has a small population of approximately 600 people; a peaceful, heritage coastal setting with superb sandy beaches; and two golf courses, including the second oldest in England!
