Lundy Island

Lundy island is a place of outstanding natural beauty it lies in the Bristol Channel, about 11 miles from the North Devon Coast, it is about 3 miles long and half a mile wide. On Lundy Island you will find a Pirates Haunt, A Medieval Castle, Seals, Climbers Cliffs, earthquake Cracks and much more.

Sheep that were bottle fed as lambs treat children as friends, chickens and ducks roam freely, in fact Lundy is abound with wildlife, Silka Deer, Lundy Ponies, Soay Sheep, Basking Sharks, Dolphins and many rare birds.

When Lundy was taken over by the National Trust in 1969, the landmark trust undertook the task of tidying up and carefully restoring buildings and services for visitors and residents.

Buildings on Lundy range in size from a stone cottage that only sleeps one person to a Georgian House that accommodates 12.
