Rick Stein
Rick Stein is the first celebrity chef everyone thinks of when it comes to seafood. Together with his ex-wife Jill, Rick owns 4 restaurants, a delicatessen, a patisserie, a seafood cookery school and a hotel in the small fishing port of Padstow in Cornwall.
Rick’s enthusiasm for seafood led to his first TV programme Taste of the Sea in 1995. Since then, he’s made 9 more, 5 of which were exclusively about seafood. Rick’s also published a series of cookbooks, and although he’s a professional chef, he bases most of his recipes on simple cooking.
As Rick is most famous for his seafood recipes, it’s only right we give you his recipe for sautéed squid and chorizo salad with garlic, rocket, tomatoes and chickpeas.
