Fort William
From Armadale on Skye ferries depart to Mallaig, beginning the line to Fort William. Pure white beaches, mountains and island views make for a spectacular journey. In the summer, steam trains add to the romance. Loch Ness is not far from Fort William, so make sure you stop by for some monster-spotting.
