Left & lost luggage
Left luggage
If you don't want to carry around heavy bags or luggage, you can leave it at a secure left luggage unit provided at many transport points. You can leave your bag for as short or as long as you like, and collect them when you're ready.
Lost luggage
If you lose or leave something on transport in Britain we have a number of procedures in place to help you locate lost items.
Most lost property will be sent to the Lost Property Office after 7 days, however you should check at the stations and garages first.
Left & lost luggage in London
There are left luggage facilities at all National Rail stations. Excess Baggage operates baggage storage facilities at some London mainline rail stations.
Left & lost luggage on the train
If you think you've left something on a public bus, you should contact the supervisor of the bus station or garage that manages the route. For coaches, the best thing to do is go back and ask the driver if you can check the coach.
