They have a taxi office opposite the information desk in the terminal building, which is open 24 hours a day. There are a number of local bus services linking the airport with surrounding towns and villages and the cities of Derby, Nottingham and Leicester.
Bus to Nottingham
If you're going to Nottingham, you can get a direct Nottingham Skylink bus. This service links the airport with both Nottingham city centre and Nottingham Railway Station, half hourly, 24 hours a day, every day.

If you're going to Leicester you can take the Leicester Skylink bus that connects the airport with Leicester in under an hour. This service operates hourly during the day and most hours during the night.

If you're going to Derby, you can take the Derby Airline Shuttle which provides links with Derby Railway Station and the city centre every half hour during the day and hourly at other times, 7 days a week.

Coach
National Express Airport service 240 offers direct connections daily to and from the airport to Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Luton, Heathrow and Gatwick, with onward connections to over 500 destinations throughout the UK. Train
Loughborough, Long Eaton, Nottingham and Derby train stations are all just a short bus or taxi ride from the airport. See above for details about buses and taxis from the airport. From any of these train stations you can take connecting or direct train services to destinations all over Britain. There's a direct service to London which only takes about 2 hours.
