Did you know?
Liverpool FC are known as ‘The Reds’ due to the colour of the club’s home kit. Liverpool had originally played in red and white, but Bill Shankly introduced an all-red strip in 1964. He thought that it would make the team seem bigger and more intimidating, as ‘red is the colour of danger and power’.
