The diverse and dynamic culture of the city is reflected in the wide choice of international cuisine and restaurants in Birmingham. Most famous of all is the area in the city known as the 'Balti Triangle'. This delicacy (a uniquely spiced curry served in an iron pot) originated on the Indian sub-continent and was perfected by chefs in Birmingham restaurants.
