The Cotswold Way National Trail runs between the city of Bath and the town of Chipping Campden. The trail runs for most of its length on the Cotswold escarpment and is renowned for its stunning views over the Severn Vale, the Forest of Dean, the Malverns and on a clear day - Wales!

Day 1: Bath - Tormarton

The Cotswold Way National Trail starts in the World Heritage City of Bath. This historic city has some of the finest architectural and historic treasures in Europe, including the Roman Baths and Pump Room, and the 15th century Bath Abbey. Tormarton

Today the trail takes you to the charming town of Wotton under Edge. The trail passes through the main shopping streets of the lively town, so you can stop and relax, taking in the beautiful buildings - some of which date back to the 16th century. Uley

Today, visit the village of Uley, which is full of historical gems. The village was home to Roman temple at West Hill, and the fascinating findings are now on display at the British Museum.
