The small festival with the big heart
Enjoy Latin flavours at Festinho 2010; a laid-back Brazilian music festival in the Oxfordshire countryside from 27-29 August.
This intimate camping festival in a magical setting is a delicious cocktail of the best in eclectic music, sunny Brazilian vibes and a fun, laid-back feel. All profits go to the ABC Trust, which helps Brazilian children and young people on the streets to transform their lives.
You'll find acts and artists you know and love, and you'll also find the absolute best of fresh new talent from London to Salvador. Enjoy everything from folk music to dance and electro from artists such as AGT Rave Cru, Belleruche, Eliza Carthy, James Yuill, Sombrero Soundsystem and The Kleptones.
There’s also plenty of fun and games for kids including ‘Angel Gardens’, bedtime stories around campfires, a hidden art trail and a kids’ carnival. And for the grown-ups there’s the Tea Rooms to enjoy, a casino and a picture house with live films, AV sets and chilled out performances from some of the more ambient acts.
And if that’s not enough for you, there’s also a full programme of cabaret and comedy acts, 4 bars and delicious festival food stalls.
