The world of Jamie Oliver
Jamie Oliver is quite possibly Britain's best-loved celebrity chef. But it's not just his cheeky charm and that cute cockney accent that endeared him not only to Britain , but also to the world; Jamie's truly passionate about food and this enthusiasm comes out effortlessly in the delicious menus and ingenious recipes he creates.
Jamie's latest venture, a new collection of affordable local restaurants known as 'Jamie's Italian', is certain to set taste buds tingling. The restaurant will rekindle his love for rustic Italian food that first wooed him as a teenager. All pasta will be freshly made on site, the chicken will all be free-range and the bread will be created daily by artisan bakers. With such attention paid to its authenticity, all the notes of the dishes might be Italian but the composition will be unmistakably Jamie.
The first Jamie's Italian restaurant is due to open in March this year and will be housed in a Georgian property in Bath's city centre. Others are expected to open in Oxford and Brighton but don't forget you can still experience Jamie's dishes at his famous Fifteen restaurants in London and Cornwall.
