Bath is a cosmopolitan city with plenty of nightlife. Three of Bath’s pubs have been named in the new Which? Guide to the country’s best hostelries. There is a long tradition of inns and taverns – the oldest pub in the city is thought to be The Saracen’s Head, which dates back to 1713. Traditional pubs are plentiful and a great way to experience the social life of the city. For something a bit more upmarket, try George Street. It has a good number of bars all within a conveniently short distance of one another. Numerous clubs in the city cater for every taste in music including jazz, folk, indie, rock, chart-music, house and rap.
