Getting there

Rail – Trains depart from London Paddington to Bath Spa every half an hour. The journey takes approximately one hour and thirty minutes. Coach – (3hrs 15min; £15.00 Day Return, £22 Standard Return). Depart Victoria coach station.  Approx. every 1½ hrs from 8am, last coach back leaving at 18.30. (Service 403)

 

Getting around

Bath’s compact size and colossal heritage make it ideal for walking.  Historic and special interest guided tours are available, including the free day walks provided by the Mayor’s Honorary Guides.  Otherwise, bus tours of the city are available on the many hop on, hop off tour buses that stop in the city centre.
