Getting around

There are many ways to get around the city, each giving a different view of what Bristol has to offer. Taking an open top bus tour with an informative guide is a great way to get your bearings and have an introduction to Bristol's history. A tour of the historic harbour by boat is essential to a trip to Bristol.

The medieval streets and Georgian crescents of Bristol lend themselves well to being explored on foot, and there are plenty of guided walks, from Bristol Highlights to Pirate walks, that depart from the Tourist Information Centre, in Millennium Square.
