Getting there

Just 60 miles north of London, Cambridge is located in the heart of the East of England, excellent road and rail links ensure the city is accessible from all parts of the UK.

Rail 

There is a fast and frequent rail service direct to Cambridge from either London King’s Cross or London Liverpool Street. The approximate journey time is 50 minutes. There are also excellent rail connections between London Stansted Airport and the City. Getting around

Many of the University buildings, museums, churches, open spaces and amenities that Cambridge has to offer are located in the very heart of the city. Walking is therefore a realistic and enjoyable way to move around Cambridge. 

To get a true understanding of Cambridge and its history and to see the most impressive sights the city has to offer, a walking tour is essential. Historic University and College tours leave the Visitor Information Centre on Wheeler Street every day.
