Getting around
Canterbury is a small city, which is easily managed on foot. Much of the city is pedestrianised, and all the main attractions are within 10 minutes walk of the centre. Get around town in an unusual fashion – either by boat – rowing and punt trips run daily during the summer – or by horse and carriage.
For parking, you are highly recommended to use one of the three excellent Park and Ride Sites.
Why not follow the historic Queen Bertha’s walk, which links the three parts of Canterbury’s World Heritage Site – the Cathedral, St Augustine’s Abbey and St Martin’s Church?
