Night-time in Glasgow
Eating Out
Glasgow has so much to offer on a gastronomic night out. You’ll find a huge diversity in both style of cuisine and price, with something to suit all palates and budgets.
A wealth of individual and locally owned bistros and brasseries of character have appeared in recent years. Some of the best restaurants such as the venerable Ubiquitous Chip and Rogano - an Art Deco gem and Glasgow legend - have been joined by more than a dozen excellent establishments, such as Gamba, Air Organic and Rococo.
Take your pick from the trendy Merchant City Area or the more laid-back Byres Road in the city's West End for a cosmopolitan selection of top quality restaurants. Not surprisingly, culinary treats include Scottish dishes. But you’ll be amazed at the range of international cuisine on offer.
Another recent development is the "complete package"- bars, restaurants and late-night dance clubs all under a single roof. All of them, such as the Corinthian on Ingram Street, display the city's strong sense of style.
