"A hidden gem in London is Sarastro Restaurant (www.sarastro-restaurant.com/about_us.html), Covent Garden (126 Drury Lane). Here you will find an absolute treat. A wonderful venue for a pre or post theatre dinner, this restaurant sells itself as the Show after the Show, and with good cause. It sports a beautiful interior with rich colours and busy walls, with interesting props and knickknacks throughout the restaurant. The prices are very reasonable and we enjoyed a wonderful meal after seeing a show."

"For a true Yorkshire experience, how about a pint of local Black Sheep Bitter in the Birch Hall Inn in Beck Hole, North Yorkshire. We sat in the garden with a homemade ham and mustard sandwich and the tastiest pork pie ever; just watching the world go by after walking across the moors. Perfection!"
