Pat Chapman's Good Curry Guide to Britain's best curry restaurants broke new ground when it was first published in 1984, by being the first restaurant guide to specialise only in the British curry experience.
Britain, through its long food history, has been found to have some historical links with curry. During the reign of Richard I, spicy stews were regularly prepared for the food table. Today, Britain is home to a myriad of international dishes and you can delight in many different types of curry from Bengali to Bangladeshi and Goan to Pakistani.
Since the 1992 edition, The Good Curry Guide has also featured a list of Top 100 and familiar restaurants delivering outstanding food and service.
