In Parc Howard Museum and Art Gallery in Llanelli, enjoy the former family home of the Buckleys, and explore the extensive collection of Llanelli Pottery. In Llanystumdwy, near Criccieth, visit the home of former Prime Minister, David Lloyd George. The Lloyd George Museum and Highgate Cottage portray the life of the first modern Prime Minister, you can even see a copy of the Treaty of Versailles.
The history of Nelson
Head towards the Nelson Museum and Local History Centre in Monmouth where you’ll find a magnificent collection of Nelson artefacts. See Nelson’s fighting sword and personal items including a selection of letters with his wife Lady Hamilton. The Local History Centre, located in the same building, recounts the story of Monmouth and its local population as well as Charles Rolls of Rolls Royce fame.
