From the early nineties onwards there's been wave after wave of great British music exploded on the world. From the flurry of British acts like Radiohead from Oxford, Oasis from Manchester, Blur from London, Pulp from Sheffield and more storming the airwaves signalling the era of Britpop to more recent acts like Kaiser Chiefs from Leeds, Super Furry Animals from Cardiff, Franz Ferdinand from Glasgow, Snow Patrol from Belfast have all been flying the flag of great British music all over the world.
