Bodnant Garden Tal-y-Cafn, Colwyn Bay, Conwy

Bodnant is home to spectacular terraced gardens set above a valley, with views of the Snowdonia mountains. There are outstanding displays of camellias, rhododendrons and azaleas in late spring. An astonishing 180-foot-long laburnum arch drips with gold, whilst colourful summer borders, roses, water lilies, clematis and sizzling autumn foliage continue the display throughout the year.
Penrhyn Castle

Penrhyn Castle, Bangor, Gwynedd

Journey west to Penrhyn Castle. Set in 40 acres against the stunning backdrop of the Snowdonia mountains, the gardens include open parkland, woods, exotic shrubs and a terraced Victorian walled garden with pools, lawns and a wild garden.
