The North Downs Way National Trail follows the chalk scarp of the North Downs from Farnham in Surrey to Dover and Canterbury on the Kent coast. Farnham
The North Downs Way National Trail starts at the old English market town of Farnham. The town is steeped in history, and has some of the best Georgian architecture in the south of England. It's also a great place to explore the surrounding Surrey Hills, which are rich in wildlife, woodland, attractive market towns and villages.
Guildford
The next destination on the trail is the historic town of Guildford. This vibrant town is set in the rolling hills of the Surrey countryside, and is the county town of Surrey. Take a guided tour of the town and discover its fascinating history, taking in Guildford Castle, the 15th century Guildhall and a wealth of other buildings.
