Central Highland Taxis is the official taxi operator for Inverness Airport. Taxis can be found in the taxi stop outside the terminal. The fare from the airport to Inverness city centre is around £10-15.

Car

Inverness Airport is 9 miles from the city centre, and is located on the main A96 road. Use the VisitBritain journey planner (visitbritain.transportdirect.info/visitbritain/en) to find the best route to your destination.

Bus

You can take a local bus (number 11, 11A, 11C and 11D) from the bus stop directly outside the terminal to the city centre. Buses run from around 09:45 to 23:45, every 30 minutes. Journeys into Inverness city centre take around 20 minutes.

Train

Services for other parts of Scotland and England operate from Inverness Station, 10 miles from the airport. You can get to Inverness Station by taxi, or take a bus to the city centre.
