The Isle of Man lies in the Irish Sea between England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. It is about 60 miles off the Northwest coast of England. Isle of Man Airport is located in the south of the island, and 9 miles from the capital, Douglas. Any point in the island is no more than 1 hour's driving time.

Taxi

Taxis can be found in the taxi stop outside the entrance to the terminal building. Taxis are available to meet all flights, and most destinations across the island can be covered. The fare from the airport to Douglas town centre is around £18.

Car

Bus

You can take a local bus (number 1, 1C, 2, 2A, X1 and X2) from the airport to Douglas, the island's capital. Buses run every half hour every day and take around 30 minutes to reach Douglas. Buses are less frequent on Sundays, and journeys may take longer.
