London Underground is made up of 12 lines, each with their own unique colour so you can easily follow them on a map. Most lines run through central London, and many serve parts of Greater London.

Heathrow by tube

You can also travel between Heathrow Airport and all parts of London by tube. The westbound Piccadilly Line (dark blue) has 2 stations for Heathrow, one serving terminals 1, 2 and 3, and one for terminal 4.

Disabled access

While London's tube system is improving its access for wheelchair users, it can still be problematic for some people. Not all underground stations have wheelchair access, so it's best to check the facilities at the station you want to travel to before you leave.
