The "Caledonian Canal Heritage Centre" is situated at the side of the dramatic flight of locks at Fort Augustus. Attractively presented in a converted lock-keepers cottage, the professionally designed displays give a unique "history" of the canal, its uses and renovation. The centre's shop offers a range of quality unusual gifts.
